Round and Round We Go
I thought it would be fun for Kiddo to experiment with a compass. A piece of cardboard worked nicely because he could poke the sharp end in to help keep it steady. There were no rules, no goals, just a bit of exploring.
Afterward he wanted to color his circles. Geometry is very artistic.

Lovely. And great idea to use a compass on cardboard so it doesn't slide around.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I was thinking about completely different compass and was confused looking at the pictures. I was always wondering how this thing is called in English. I like how he colored the circles - really very pretty.
